- Pour the sauce over the chicken and serve with cooked rice.
Tips:
- Choose the right chicken thighs: Look for thighs that are plump and have a good amount of skin. Bone-in, skin-on thighs are ideal for this recipe, as the bones and skin help to keep the chicken moist and flavorful during cooking.
- Marinate the chicken thighs: Marinating the chicken thighs in a flavorful mixture of spices and herbs helps to infuse them with flavor and keep them moist during cooking. The marinade for this recipe includes a blend of cumin, paprika, turmeric, ginger, garlic, and olive oil.
- Cook the chicken thighs over medium heat: Cooking the chicken thighs over medium heat helps to prevent them from drying out. Cook the thighs for about 30-35 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Serve the chicken thighs with your favorite sides: Moroccan chicken thighs can be served with a variety of sides, such as couscous, rice, roasted vegetables, or a simple salad.
Conclusion:
Moroccan chicken thighs are a delicious and flavorful dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The chicken thighs are marinated in a blend of spices and herbs, then cooked until tender and juicy. Serve the chicken thighs with your favorite sides for a complete meal.
