2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tomatoes, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
2 teaspoons turmeric
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon parsley, minced
1 tablespoon cilantro, minced
1/2 tablespoon tomato paste
1 cup water
15 ounces navy beans, drained

Steps:

  • Saute the onion in olive oil until golden.

3 ripe tomatoes ( grated )
1 medium onion (grated)
3 cloves of garlic (finely chopped or pressed)
2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro (chopped)
1 tablespoon salt
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons cumin
1 1/2 teaspoons ginger
Optional: 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or to taste)
1/2 cup olive oil
