SUPREME PIZZA PASTA SALAD

Supreme Pizza Pasta Salad image

This recipe comes straight from Rachel Ray's 30 Minute Meals. It really does taste like a Supreme Pizza. The best part is, you make it the day before you want to serve it and refrigerate. The cook time, is really chill time. I put down 2 hours, but it is really better the next day. NOTE: The original recipe calls for a pound of mozzarella cheese, but I only use 1/2 pound. If you like a lot of cheese...go for a pound!!!!

PIZZA PASTA SALAD

Pizza Pasta Salad image

I love experimenting with cold pasta salads. This one was such a success I kept running back to the fridge to get more, so I think I'll wait a little bit before making another batch. Measurements are a guessing game for me 'cuz I never measure anything (you shouldn't either) and this always turns out killer !

  • Cook the Pasta: Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Make sure to cook it al dente, which means it should be firm to the bite and not overcooked.
  • Use High-Quality Ingredients: The quality of your ingredients will greatly impact the taste of your salad. Use fresh vegetables, herbs, and cheese, and choose a high-quality pasta and dressing.
  • Don't Overdress the Salad: When adding the dressing, start with a small amount and toss the salad gently to coat the ingredients evenly. You can always add more dressing if needed, but it's difficult to remove excess dressing.
