2 whole star anise (optional)
1 teaspoon whole allspice berries
1 teaspoon whole cloves

Nutrition Facts : Calories 120 g

Tips:

  • Fresh ingredients: Use fresh fruits, spices, and herbs to get the best flavor. Fresh fruits not only give the cider a natural sweetness, but also add a vibrant color.
  • Balance of flavors: Mulled grape cider should have a balance of sweetness, tartness, and spice. Add ingredients to taste and adjust as needed. A good rule of thumb is to start with a small amount of each ingredient and add more to taste.
  • Simmer gently: Do not boil the cider. Simmering allows the flavors to meld and develop without overpowering the delicate grape flavor.
  • Garnish: Add a garnish of fresh fruit, herbs, or spices to make the cider more visually appealing. Some popular choices include orange slices, cinnamon sticks, and star anise.

Conclusion:

Mulled grape cider is a comforting and festive beverage that is perfect for chilly autumn and winter evenings. With its vibrant color and delicious flavor, it is sure to be a hit at your next gathering. Experiment with different spices and fruits to find your perfect combination. Enjoy!
