LINDA'S DILL DIP FOR VEGETABLES
This is the best dip recipe I have tasted. Linda made it for us during one of our visits. The bowl needed to be refilled, so I got the container out of the refrigerator, took off the lid, and dumped it upside down onto the floor. Oh my gosh! What a mess, boy was I embassassed! We quickly scooped it up (being careful not to touch the floor) and put it back in the bowl. Dill weed is very expensive, about $65 a pound. Now I save and dry it for both my sister-in-law and me.

NAN'S ZIPPY CALIFORNIA DILL DIP
This recipe evolved from what has been one of my favorites since my girlhood days. If there are any leftovers a big dollop is also very tasty on a baked potato or an omelette or in a bowl of tomato soup. Prep time noted doesn't include chilling time.

VEGETABLE DILL DIP RECIPE
Steps:
- Combine all ingredients together in a large bowl.
- Cover and store in fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving (I like to make it the day before serving it so that the flavors can really meld together).
- Serve with your favorite vegetables (carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, tomatoes, etc), crackers, or potato chips.
Nutrition Facts : Servingsize 1 serving
Tips:
- Use fresh ingredients. Fresh herbs, vegetables, and sour cream will give your dill dip the best flavor.
- Don't overmix the dip. Overmixing can make the dip runny and less flavorful.
- Chill the dip before serving. This will help the flavors to meld and will make the dip thicker and creamier.
- Serve the dip with a variety of dippers. Crackers, chips, vegetables, and pretzels are all great options.
- Get creative with your ingredients. You can add other herbs, spices, or vegetables to your dill dip to create your own unique flavor.
