Tips:

  • Choose the right wine: A fruity red wine, such as a Rioja or a Tempranillo, is a good choice for sangria. You can also use white wine, but it will produce a lighter-colored sangria.
  • Use fresh fruit: The fresher the fruit, the better your sangria will taste. Use a variety of fruits, such as oranges, lemons, limes, strawberries, and blueberries.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment: There are many different ways to make sangria. You can add different fruits, spices, and herbs to create your own unique recipe.
  • Make it ahead of time: Sangria is best when it has had time to sit and meld the flavors. Make it a few hours or even a day ahead of time.
