2 teaspoons new mexico chile powder
1 tablespoon new mexico green chili powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes (chile caribe)
1 teaspoon ground cumin
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 tablespoons salt

Steps:

  • Mix all together.

3-1/2 teaspoons chili powder

ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS (for each batch):
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms, optional
1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (16 ounces) hot chili beans, undrained
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed tomato soup, undiluted
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 garlic cloves, minced
Shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine all of the seasonings. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months.
