NUTELLA®-STUFFED FRENCH TOAST

Nutella®-Stuffed French Toast image

My daughter loves when I make this stuffed French toast. You could add some sliced fruit to the sandwich if you'd like; try bananas or strawberries. Dust with powered sugar and serve with pancake syrup.

I admit I'm addicted to Nutella®! But at $8 or $9 per week for a large jar, the cost was adding up. So I came up with my own version. This is super gooey and so yummy!

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 (12-ounce) package butterscotch chips
2 -3 cups Kix cereal
1 cup dry oriental noodle
1 - 1/2 cup miniature marshmallow

Steps:

  • Melt chips on low-medium burner or in the microwave. They will hold their shape until stirred, so test often or they may scorch. Add remaining 3 ingredients to melted chips, stir gently to coat well. Drop by large spoonfuls onto waxed paper; let cool. We have added other cereals, other chips, and melted some of the marshmallow with the chips. Also try adding raisins, coconut, granola, nuts or M&M'S. Any flavor chip works well and cereals, too.
