NUTTY GRANOLA

A very easy-to-make granola recipe that is delicious and the best snack ever. All the girls at my office eat this with yogurt every day. It's awesome! If you don't have some of the dry ingredients, just add more of what you do have. Walnuts are a fine substitute for pecans. You can also try dried blueberries instead of or with the cranberries.

Tips:

  • Choose your oats wisely: Use old-fashioned or rolled oats for a chewy granola. Quick-cooking oats will result in a softer granola.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: Spread the granola out in an even layer on the baking sheet. Overcrowding will prevent the granola from getting crispy.
  • Bake the granola until it's golden brown: This will ensure that the granola is crispy and flavorful.
  • Let the granola cool completely before storing it: This will help the granola to crisp up and prevent it from becoming soggy.
  • Store the granola in an airtight container: This will keep the granola fresh and prevent it from becoming stale.

Conclusion:

Granola is a delicious and versatile snack that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It's also a great way to get your daily dose of nuts, seeds, and dried fruit. With so many different recipes to choose from, you're sure to find a granola that you'll love. So next time you're looking for a healthy and satisfying snack, reach for a bowl of granola.
