1 ½ pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
½ cup honey
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons dried minced onion
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
½ teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons water
sesame seeds, or to taste

Steps:

  • Spread chicken into the crock of a slow cooker.

1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 green onion, thinly sliced for garnish
Sesame seeds, for garnish

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine onion, garlic, honey, soy sauce, ketchup, vegetable oil and red pepper. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper, to taste. Place chicken thighs into a slow cooker. Add honey mixture and gently toss to combine. Cover and cook on low heat for 3 hours and 30 minutes. 6 skinless chicken drumsticks, with thighs attached skinless
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Place chicken crock pot.
  • In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and tomato sauce.
  • Pour sauce over chicken. Cover and cook on low for about 5 hours or until chicken is tender.
  • Remove to a plate and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • To Freeze: Cool, bag, label and freeze(package sesame seeds separate and add when reheating).

salt and pepper (to taste)
1 cup honey
½ cup soy sauce
½ cup diced onion
¼ cup ketchup
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil ((could also use olive oil or canola oil))
2 cloves garlic (minced)
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes ((optional - doesn't really add heat, just adds more flavor))
4 teaspoon cornstarch (dissolved in 6 Tablespoons water)

Steps:

  • Spray crock pot with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Season both sides of chicken with lightly with salt and pepper, put into crock pot.

  • Cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high 1 1/2 ? 2 1/2 hours, or just until chicken is cooked through. Remove chicken from crock pot, leave sauce. Dissolve 4 teaspoons of cornstarch in 6 tablespoons of water and pour into crock pot. Stir to combine with sauce. Replace lid and cook sauce on high for ten more minutes or until slightly thickened.
  • Cut chicken into bite size pieces, then return to pot and toss with sauce before serving. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve over rice or noodles.
