Tips:

  • Use a variety of oats. You can use old-fashioned oats, rolled oats, or quick-cooking oats for this recipe. If you have a high-powered blender, you can also grind oats into a flour.
  • Don't overcook the oats. Overcooked oats will be mushy and won't hold their shape in the bars.
  • Use a thickener. A thickener like cornstarch or arrowroot powder will help to bind the bars together. If you want to use a gluten-free thickener, try using tapioca flour.
  • Add your favorite mix-ins. You can add a variety of mix-ins to these bars, such as chocolate chips, nuts, seeds, or dried fruit. Be sure to chop any mix-ins into small pieces so that they distribute evenly throughout the bars.
  • Let the bars cool completely before slicing. This will help to prevent them from falling apart.
  • Store the bars in an airtight container. They will keep for up to 5 days at room temperature or for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.

Conclusion:

Oatmeal crunch bars are a delicious and healthy snack or breakfast option. They are easy to make and can be customized to your own preferences. With a few simple ingredients, you can create a batch of oatmeal crunch bars that the whole family will enjoy.
