ONION DILL PICNIC BREAD
I wish you could see the picture for this bread. It looks like a golden, flakey deck of cards standing on end!...and the oniony aroma of the baking bread is out of this world! If you don't like the flavor of dill, it can be omitted and the bread will still be delicious. Prep time does not include rising time.

ONION DILL BREAD (NO-KNEAD)
This bread comes out soft, good for soaking up the last bit of beef stew or beef barley soup. The onion flavor is not over powering. I do add a bit more dill (increase by 1/2 teaspoon) as I like the dill flavor. Prep time doesn't include 2 risings.

- Mix together the melted butter, egg, buttermilk, and 1 cup of water. SLOWLY add to dry ingredients while mixing with the other hand.

Tips:
- Be patient: This bread takes time to rise, so don't rush the process. The longer you let it rise, the better the flavor and texture will be.
- Use high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients you use, the better the bread will be. Look for fresh, organic ingredients whenever possible.
- Don't overwork the dough: Overworking the dough will make the bread tough. Mix it just until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake the bread in a preheated oven: This will help the bread to rise evenly and develop a golden brown crust.
- Let the bread cool completely before slicing: This will help the bread to hold its shape and prevent it from crumbling.
Conclusion:
This onion dill picnic bread is a delicious and easy-to-make bread that is perfect for any occasion. It is soft, fluffy, and flavorful, with a hint of onion and dill. This bread is perfect for sandwiches, toast, or just eating on its own. So next time you are looking for a delicious and easy-to-make bread, give this onion dill picnic bread a try.
