Tips:

  • Use fresh orange juice for the best flavor. Bottled or store-bought orange juice may not be as sweet or flavorful, and can alter the overall taste of the cups.
  • If you don't have vanilla pudding mix, you can make your own by whisking together 1/2 cup cornstarch, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a medium saucepan. Slowly whisk in 2 cups milk and bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1-2 minutes, or until the pudding has thickened. Remove from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  • For a creamier texture, use heavy cream instead of milk in the pudding mix.
  • If you want the cups to be more tart, add a tablespoon or two of lemon juice to the orange juice mixture.
  • Garnish the cups with whipped cream, orange zest, or a maraschino cherry for a special touch.

Conclusion:

Orange Dream Cups are a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that are perfect for any occasion. They are a great way to use up leftover orange juice, and they are always a hit with kids and adults alike. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a sweet and creamy treat that everyone will love.
