Time 10m

Yield 1 1/2 cups, 1 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons peanut oil
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey (fireweed is good)
white pepper, to taste

Steps:

Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of meat: For best results, use a tender cut of meat such as flank steak, skirt steak, or chicken breasts.
  • Slice the meat thinly: This will help the marinade penetrate the meat more easily.
  • Use a good quality orange juice: Freshly squeezed orange juice is best, but you can also use bottled or frozen orange juice.
  • Add some zest: Grating some orange zest into the marinade will add a burst of citrus flavor.
  • Don't forget the honey and soy sauce: These two ingredients add a delicious sweet and savory flavor to the marinade.
  • Let the meat marinate for at least 30 minutes, but no longer than 24 hours: This will give the marinade time to penetrate the meat and tenderize it.
  • Cook the meat over high heat: This will help to caramelize the marinade and create a delicious crust.
  • Serve the meat with your favorite sides: Some popular options include rice, noodles, or vegetables.
