ORZO AND POTATO PARMESAN
This is a great recipe for people on a budget or for picky eaters. It is also very easy to make. This recipe lists the basic ingredients, but you should try adding other vegetables or ingredients to suit your taste. I typically add carrots and onions. Just be sure to add a little extra water to compensate for additional ingredients. If you aren't a vegetarian you can use chicken bouillon.

Tips:
- Use a large pot or Dutch oven to cook the orzo, as it will expand as it cooks.
- Be sure to toast the orzo in olive oil before adding the broth. This will help to bring out its nutty flavor.
- Use a good quality Parmesan cheese for the best flavor. Freshly grated Parmesan is ideal, but you can also use pre-shredded Parmesan if necessary.
- Add the Parmesan cheese to the orzo gradually, stirring constantly, to prevent it from clumping.
- Season the orzo with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish the orzo with fresh herbs, such as basil, parsley, or chives, before serving.
Conclusion:
Parmesan orzo is a delicious and easy-to-make side dish that is perfect for any occasion. It is a great way to use up leftover Parmesan cheese, and it is also a good source of protein and fiber. Parmesan orzo can be served hot or cold, and it is also a good make-ahead dish. Whether you are looking for a simple side dish or a more substantial meal, Parmesan orzo is a great option.
