COPYCAT STARBUCKS SHAKEN ICED PEACH GREEN TEA LEMONADE

Copycat Starbucks Shaken Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade image

I hardly ever go to Starbucks any more, after purchasing a Keruig years ago. Tried one of these a few days ago and have been back 3 times. Last time, I thought this was crazy, so I questioned the cashier. He said use 7 squirts of peach syrup. Some Starbuck's sells peach, almost all stores that have a Starbucks inside will sell the syrups. I have bought this at Von's and at Target. I purchased the plunger which was under $3.00 (I love that thing!) because the cashier had no idea what 7 squirts measured out to be. It's so much easier to squirt out the syrup, then measure into each glass, or so, I think. Hope you enjoy as much as I do! No more money spent at Starbucks on these babies!

TIPSY PEACH LEMONADE

Tipsy Peach Lemonade image

One sip of this cocktail, and we guarantee this will be your new favorite summertime drink! The lemon and peach juices make for a tasty combination. Very refreshing!

Provided by Maggie M

Categories     Cocktails

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 fresh peaches peeled and diced
1 c granulated sugar
4 c water
3/4 c lemon juice - fresh if you have it
peach slices and lemon zest for garnish
1 oz vodka per serving ** omit for non alcoholic version

Steps:

  • 1. NOTE: This is such a great drink but it does not need to contain the alcohol. Make it alcohol free by omitting the liquor .. you won't be disappointed !
  • 2. Put diced peaches, sugar and water into a 2 qt pot. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer until sugar is completely dissolved - approximately 10 minutes.
  • 3. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature. Strain through a sieve, pressing to extract as much juice as possible, saving the extracted juice in a separate container. If you would like to use the pulp you can skip the straining procedure but it will be very thick.
  • 4. Stir lemon juice into the cooked juice - with or without the fruit. Ladle into a tall glass that has been filled with ice. Add vodka and stir.
  • 5. Garnish with fresh peach slices if desired.

PEACH LEMONADE

Provided by Nancy Allen

Categories     Other Drinks

Time 10m

Number Of Ingredients 3

country time lemonade mix ( 1 quart measurement)
4 c cold water
1 33.8oz. bottle peach nectar

Steps:

  • 1. Combine lemonade mix with water and peach nectar in a pitcher. Cover and chill at least 1 hour. serve over ice.

Tips:

  • Choose ripe and juicy peaches: Select fragrant peaches that yield slightly to pressure. Overripe or underripe peaches will not provide the best flavor for your lemonade.
  • Use fresh lemon juice: Freshly squeezed lemon juice offers a vibrant and tangy flavor, enhancing the overall taste of the lemonade. Avoid using store-bought lemon juice, as it may contain preservatives or additives that can alter the taste.
  • Adjust sweetness to your preference: The amount of sugar or honey you add to the lemonade can be adjusted to suit your desired sweetness level. Start with a moderate amount and taste test before adding more, ensuring a balanced flavor.
  • Let the lemonade chill: Chilling the lemonade allows the flavors to meld and develop fully. Serve it cold over ice for a refreshing and thirst-quenching drink.
  • Garnish and enjoy: Enhance the visual appeal and flavor of your lemonade with garnishes like lemon slices, peach slices, or mint leaves. These additions add a touch of elegance and freshness to the drink.
