PEARL ONIONS & VODKA CREAM SAUCE WITH PENNE
I found this delicious recipe on a bag of pearled onions. It is fabulously rich and easy and a total crowd pleaser! I added about 3/4 of a cup of chopped cooked ham to the recipe (along with the cream) with fantastic results. I plan on trying it with left over grilled chicken as well.

Tips:
- Mise en place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all the ingredients and equipment you need. This will help you stay organized and avoid scrambling around in the middle of cooking.
- Use good quality vodka: The vodka in this sauce adds a subtle flavor, so it's important to use a good quality brand. Look for a vodka that is smooth and has a clean taste.
- Don't overcook the sauce: The sauce should be cooked until it is just thickened and creamy. If you overcook it, it will become too thick and gloopy.
- Serve the sauce immediately: This sauce is best served immediately after it is made. It will lose its flavor if it sits for too long.
Conclusion:
This pearl onions vodka cream sauce with penne is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The sauce is creamy and flavorful, and the pearl onions add a touch of sweetness and crunch. The penne pasta is a great vehicle for the sauce, and the dish can be topped with grated Parmesan cheese or chopped fresh parsley for extra flavor.
