Tips:

  • Choose the right pasta. Penne is a great choice for this recipe because it has a large surface area that can hold onto the sauce. However, you can use any type of short pasta that you like, such as macaroni, shells, or rotini.
  • Use a good quality salami. The salami is one of the main ingredients in this dish, so it's important to use a good quality one. Look for a salami that is flavorful and has a nice texture.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan. When you're cooking the salami, don't overcrowd the pan. This will prevent the salami from cooking evenly and will make it more likely to stick to the pan.
  • Simmer the sauce. Once you've added the tomatoes and the spices to the pan, bring the sauce to a simmer and then let it simmer for at least 15 minutes. This will help the flavors to develop and will thicken the sauce.
  • Serve immediately. Penne with salami and tomato sauce is best served immediately. However, you can make it ahead of time and reheat it when you're ready to serve.

Conclusion:

Penne with salami and tomato sauce is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The combination of the flavorful salami, the tangy tomatoes, and the creamy sauce is sure to please everyone at the table. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy pasta dish, give this one a try.
