Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. On a cookie sheet spray non-stick oil/butter.
- 2. MIx all ingredients for the dough together until you get a nice firm ball.
- 3. Roll out with a rolling pin. (I did not have to flour the surface or pin because of the oil in the dough).
- 4. Put desired amount of cheese and pepperoni on top of dough.
- 5. Roll up the dough.
- 6. Pinch the ends.
- 7. Brush with olive oil then top with Parmesan cheese.
- 8. Bake for 45 minutes. Let cool then slice. *Optional: Serve with a side of marinara.
Tips:
- To achieve a golden crust, brush the rolls with melted butter before baking.
- For a tangier flavor, use a sourdough starter instead of active dry yeast.
- Feel free to add your favorite seasonings to the dough, such as garlic powder, Italian seasoning, or Parmesan cheese.
- Make sure the pepperoni slices are thinly sliced so they cook evenly.
- Don't overfill the rolls with pepperoni; they should be able to seal properly.
- If you don't have a pizza baking stone, you can bake the rolls on a greased baking sheet.
- Serve the rolls warm with your favorite dipping sauce, such as marinara or ranch dressing.
