Tips:

  • Use high-quality pine nuts. This will make a big difference in the flavor of the snowballs.
  • Toast the pine nuts before using them. This will help to bring out their flavor and make them more fragrant.
  • Don't over-mix the dough. Over-mixing will make the snowballs tough.
  • Chill the dough before shaping it. This will help to make the snowballs easier to handle and will prevent them from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the snowballs until they are just golden brown. Over-baking will make them dry and crumbly.
  • Let the snowballs cool completely before rolling them in powdered sugar. This will help to prevent the sugar from melting.

Conclusion:

Pine nut snowballs are a delicious and festive holiday treat. They are easy to make and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. With their delicate flavor and melt-in-your-mouth texture, these cookies are sure to be a hit at your next holiday party.
