1 (18 ounce) box yellow cake mix
4 eggs
3/4 cup oil
1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges in juice
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple
1 (3 1/2 ounce) box instant vanilla pudding
8 ounces whipped topping

Steps:

  • Mix dry cake mix, eggs, oil and mandarin oranges with juice.
  • Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
  • Drain the pineapple. Pour 3/4 c juice from the crushed pineapple over the cake while still warm.
  • Mix the drained pineapple with the pudding powder and whipped topping. Spread over cooled cake.
  • Keep refrigerated.

1 box butter recipe cake mix (you can use just yellow)
1/2 cup Wesson Oil
1 (4 ounce) can mandarin oranges, with juice
4 eggs
1 (16 ounce) container Cool Whip
1 (16 ounce) can crushed pineapple in juice
1 (3 1/2 ounce) box instant vanilla pudding

Steps:

  • Beat cake mix, oil, oranges and eggs together.
  • Bake at 325 degrees for about 30 minutes.
  • Cool completely.
  • Make frosting: Drain a little of the juice off the pineapple and reserve.
  • Put the pineapple in a large bowl.
  • Sprinkle pudding on top.
  • Fold in Cool Whip.
  • If this seems stiff, add some of reserved juice.
  • Frost cake, and refrigerate until ready to serve.

1 (18 1/2 ounce) box yellow cake mix
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 ounces slivered almonds
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 (3 1/2 ounce) box vanilla pudding mix (not instant)
20 ounces sweetened crushed pineapple (do not drain)
1/4 cup water
16 ounces whipping cream
1/4 cup sugar

Steps:

  • --Cake--.
  • Prepare cake mix as directed on box:.
  • One boxed yellow cake mix.
  • Pour the batter into two 9" cake pans.
  • Combind the following ingredients.
  • 1/4 cup flour.
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar.
  • 3 oz slivered almonds.
  • 2 TBS melted butter.
  • Sprinkle on the crumb topping on to the top of the cake batter.
  • Bake the cake as directed and let cool, then chill the cake rounds in order for easier cutting.

  • Place in a saucepan over medium heat:.
  • 4.5oz vanilla pudding and pie filling mix (not instant).
  • 20 oz can sweetened crushed pineapple (do not drain).
