Time 4h10m

Number Of Ingredients 6

4 cups water
6 oz Orange Jello Mix
3 ounce instant vanilla pudding
11 ounce can Mandarin oranges, drained
1/2 of a 20 ounce can of Pineapple chunks, drained
One 8 ounce container cool whip

Steps:

  • Mix together 4 cups of water, orange jello mix, and vanilla pudding mix in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil, stirring the whole time to keep clumps from forming. Remove from fridge and break up the jello into chunks. Place in a large bowl. Add in the pineapple, mandarin oranges, and whipped cream and mix around until everything is combined. Keep refrigerated until you are ready to serve.

Tips:

  • Use fresh, juicy fruits for the best flavor. If your fruits are not very sweet, you may want to add a little bit of sugar or honey to the salad.
  • If you don't have any orzo on hand, you can substitute another type of pasta, such as penne or rotini.
  • For a creamier salad, use full-fat sour cream or Greek yogurt. For a lighter salad, use low-fat or nonfat sour cream or Greek yogurt.
  • If you don't have any fresh herbs on hand, you can use dried herbs instead. Just be sure to use half the amount of dried herbs as you would fresh herbs.
  • This salad is best served chilled, so be sure to make it ahead of time and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Conclusion:

Pineapple Mandarin Orange Cream Orzo Salad is a delicious and refreshing salad that's perfect for warm-weather gatherings. It's easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. So next time you're looking for a light and flavorful salad, give this recipe a try!
