Best 10 Pineapple Marinade For Pork Recipes

facebook share image   twitter share image   pinterest share image   E-Mail share image

Pineapple is a tropical fruit with a sweet and tart flavor that pairs well with the richness of pork. The enzymes in pineapple tenderize the meat, making it a great choice for marinating pork. Whether you are grilling, roasting, or pan-frying pork, a pineapple marinade will add flavor and moisture to your dish. The key to the perfect pineapple marinade is balancing the sweetness of the fruit with the acidity of the vinegar or citrus juice. Be sure to use fresh pineapple for the best flavor, and use a light hand with the sugar to avoid overpowering the other flavors.

Pineapple Marinade - To Tenderize Beef Or Pork image

A simple pineapple-soy marinade turns not-so-tender cuts of beef into juicy, flavorful beef. I've used this for beef top round and it really did a great job of tenderizing , there's enough marinade for 1 1/2 pounds of meat

PINEAPPLE PORK LOIN

Pineapple Pork Loin image

I was in a creative mood last Friday and decided to do some experimenting with pork and pineapple. After mixing the ingredients together and smelling it, I thought I might just have a winner with my family. After it had cooked and cooled a little, I let my girls try it. To my surprise, my 5-year-old, who is very picky, loved it and kept asking for more. I guess I should try to experiment more often.

PINEAPPLE MARINATED PORK

Pineapple Marinated Pork image

From a George Foreman cookbook. I don't see why you couldn't use pork chops or chicken with this recipe. Note refrigeration time (OAMC!).

  • Place pork in a flat glass dish.

  • Cover and refrigerate 2-12 hours.
  • Coat a grill with cooking spray and preheat for 5 minutes.

Tips:

  • Use fresh pineapple for the marinade. Fresh pineapple contains an enzyme called bromelain, which helps to tenderize the pork and give it a slightly sweet flavor.
  • If you don't have fresh pineapple, you can use canned pineapple chunks or crushed pineapple. Be sure to drain the pineapple well before using it in the marinade.
  • Add some brown sugar or honey to the marinade to help caramelize the pork.
  • You can also add some spices to the marinade, such as garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, or chili powder.
  • Let the pork marinate for at least 30 minutes, but no longer than overnight. If you marinate the pork for too long, the bromelain in the pineapple can start to break down the meat and make it mushy.
  • Cook the pork over medium heat so that it has time to caramelize and develop flavor.
  • Serve the pork with your favorite sides, such as rice, roasted vegetables, or a salad.

Conclusion:

Pineapple marinade is a great way to add flavor and tenderness to pork. It's easy to make and can be used with a variety of pork dishes. Whether you're grilling, roasting, or baking pork, a pineapple marinade will help you create a delicious and memorable meal.
