Number Of Ingredients 10

3 cups cooked chicken breast, chopped
1 cup chopped celery
2 green onions chopped
2 tablespoons green pepper, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
Pepper, to taste
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1 can pineapple tidbits drained, 20 ounces
2 tablespoon lemon juice

Steps:

  • Combine Chicken, Celery, green onions, green pepper, salt, black pepper and mayonnaise in a bowl; mix well. Stir in pecans, pineapple and lemon juice. Chill for about 30 minutes before serving.

This is a delicious summer salad. Every time I have taken this to a party I never have any leftover's. It's a lovely yummy salad recipe that's easy to mak and everyone wants you to shart. Enjoy. I believe I got this from a recipe club. Remember nuts, chicken, vegie's all heart smart and very good for you, I like that bonus! :)

3 c chopped chicken breasts
1 c finely chopped celery
2 green onions,sliced about 3t
2 Tbsp finely chopped green pepper
1 tsp salt
dash black pepper
1/2 c low fat mayonaise
1/2 c chopped pecans
1 can(s) 20 oz pineapple tidbits, drained
2 Tbsp lemon juice

Steps:

  • 1. Combine chicken,celery,green onion,green pepper,salt,black pepper,and mayonnaise (real or miracle whip) in a bowl, mix well. Stir in pecans,pineapple, and lemon juice.
  • 2. Chill for about 30 minutes before serving.
