Tips for Making Pineapple Rhubarb Jam:

  • Choose ripe and fresh pineapple and rhubarb. This will ensure the best flavor and texture for your jam.
  • Cut the pineapple and rhubarb into small pieces. This will help them cook evenly and break down more easily.
  • Use a large pot or Dutch oven to make the jam. This will give the mixture plenty of room to bubble and thicken.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer. This will help the jam thicken and develop its flavor.
  • Stir the jam frequently to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
  • Test the jam for doneness by spooning a small amount onto a cold plate. If the jam wrinkles when you push your finger through it, it is done.
  • Remove the jam from the heat and let it cool slightly before transferring it to jars.

Conclusion:

Pineapple rhubarb jam is an easy-to-make and delicious treat that can be enjoyed on toast, pancakes, or waffles. It is also a great way to use up extra pineapple and rhubarb. With its bright flavor and beautiful color, pineapple rhubarb jam is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
