1 ¼ cups all purpose flour
¾ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup whole milk
1 large egg
1 large egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1 drop fuschia gel food coloring
2 drops deep pink gel food coloring
3 cups powdered sugar
4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
½ stick unsalted butter, room temperature
2 tablespoons heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease 2 6-donut pans with nonstick spray.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, and cocoa powder.
