Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of pork: The best cuts for teko-teko are those with a good amount of fat, such as pork belly or shoulder. This will help to keep the meat moist and flavorful during cooking.
  • Marinate the pork: Marinating the pork in a mixture of spices and herbs will help to infuse it with flavor. You can use a simple marinade made with garlic, soy sauce, and rice wine, or you can get more creative with your ingredients.
  • Cook the pork slowly: Teko-teko is a dish that is best cooked slowly over low heat. This will allow the meat to become tender and fall apart easily.
  • Use a variety of vegetables: Teko-teko is a great way to use up leftover vegetables. You can add almost any kind of vegetable to the dish, such as carrots, potatoes, onions, or cabbage.
  • Serve teko-teko with rice: Teko-teko is traditionally served with rice. The rice will help to soak up the delicious sauce from the pork and vegetables.
