Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: Fresh cod, spinach, and lemon zest will give your dish the best flavor. Avoid using frozen or pre-packaged ingredients whenever possible.
  • Season your cod well: Don't be afraid to season your cod with salt and pepper. You can also add other seasonings, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika, to taste.
  • Cook your cod until it is just opaque: Overcooked cod will be tough and dry. Cook it just until it is opaque in the center, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  • Wilt your spinach before using it: Wilting spinach will help to remove excess moisture and make it easier to work with. To wilt spinach, heat a little olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the spinach and cook, stirring constantly, until it is wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Use a good quality prosciutto: The quality of your prosciutto will make a big difference in the flavor of your dish. Look for a prosciutto that is thinly sliced and has a good amount of marbling.
  • Serve your cod immediately: Prosciutto-wrapped cod is best served immediately after it is cooked. The crispy prosciutto and the flaky cod will be at their best.

Conclusion:

Prosciutto-wrapped cod with lemony spinach is a delicious and elegant dish that is perfect for a special occasion. The cod is cooked to perfection and the prosciutto adds a crispy, salty flavor. The lemony spinach is a refreshing and flavorful side dish. This dish is sure to impress your guests.
