Tips:

  • Use ripe apples: Riper apples will have a sweeter flavor and a softer texture, which will make a more flavorful and moist bread.
  • Peel and core the apples: Peeling and coring the apples will remove the skin and seeds, which can add an unwanted texture and bitterness to the bread.
  • Use a food processor or blender to mince the apples: This will create a fine, even texture for the applesauce.
  • Add a little bit of lemon juice to the applesauce: This will help to prevent the applesauce from browning.
  • Use a combination of white and brown sugar: This will give the bread a slightly caramelized flavor.
  • Add a handful of raisins to the bread: This will add a chewy texture and a sweet flavor.
  • Bake the bread in a loaf pan until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean: This will ensure that the bread is cooked through.
