Tips:

  • Choose the right ham steaks. Look for ham steaks that are about 1 inch thick and have a good amount of marbling. This will ensure that they are juicy and flavorful.
  • Use fresh pineapple. Fresh pineapple has a much better flavor than canned pineapple. If you can't find fresh pineapple, you can use frozen pineapple that has been thawed.
  • Brown the ham steaks before adding the pineapple. This will help to seal in the juices and give the ham steaks a nice caramelized crust.
  • Don't overcook the ham steaks. Ham steaks are best when they are cooked to an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit. Overcooking will make them dry and tough.
  • Serve the ham steaks immediately. Ham steaks are best served hot out of the pan. You can garnish them with fresh parsley or cilantro, if desired.

Conclusion:

Pineapple ham steaks are a quick and easy meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. They are also a great option for entertaining guests. The combination of sweet pineapple and savory ham is sure to please everyone at the table.
