PEACH-RASPBERRY SANGRIA

Peach-Raspberry Sangria image

This is a delicious sangria! Perfect for the summer or a girlie get together! your guests will love it! I would suggest thinking twice about the vanilla bean seeds because they can be a bit of a turn off for some people since they look like little black things floating around.... and if u want to make a fuller pitcher, add a 3rd bottle of Riesling or extra fruit!

Provided by MeliBug

Categories     Punch Beverage

Time 10m

Yield 8 cups, 8 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 vanilla bean
2 (750 ml) bottles riesling wine
1 cup peach schnapps
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
6 tablespoons sugar
3 ripe peaches, cut into wedges or 3 use half a jar of preserved peach slices
1 cup fresh raspberry
1 orange, sliced
1 lemon, sliced

Steps:

  • Cut vanilla bean lengthwise. Scrape out the black seeds and put at bottom of pitcher. Discard the pods.
  • Combine all the other ingredients. Be careful with the liquid because the fruit will cause it to overflow if the pitcher is too full!
  • Chill sangria overnight to get maximum flavor.
  • Just before serving, add ice cubes. Try using extra raspberries to make raspberry ice cubes for an extra pretty sangria! :) Enjoy!

Tips and Conclusion

  • Use fresh ingredients: Fresh fruits, especially raspberries and peaches, will give your sangria the best flavor. If you can't find fresh fruit, frozen fruit can be used as a substitute.
  • Choose a good quality wine: The wine you use will make a big difference in the taste of your sangria. Choose a dry or semi-dry white wine that you enjoy drinking on its own.
  • Add a variety of fruit: In addition to raspberries and peaches, you can also add other fruits to your sangria, such as strawberries, blueberries, or oranges. Use a variety of colors and flavors to create a visually appealing and delicious drink.
  • Sweeten to taste: If you find that your sangria is too tart, you can sweeten it with simple syrup or honey. Start with a small amount and add more to taste.
  • Serve chilled: Sangria is best served chilled. You can either chill it in the refrigerator for a few hours or serve it over ice.

Conclusion

Raspberry peach sangria is a refreshing and delicious summer drink that is perfect for entertaining. It is easy to make and can be customized to your own taste.
