Tips:

  • Use fresh rosemary for the best flavor. If you don't have fresh rosemary, you can use 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary.
  • Soak the raisins in warm water for 10 minutes before using them. This will plump them up and make them softer.
  • If you don't have a bread machine, you can make the dough by hand. Just follow the instructions in the recipe and knead the dough for 10 minutes, or until it is smooth and elastic.
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
  • When rolling out the dough, make sure it is not too thin. The dough should be about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Brush the dough with melted butter before adding the rosemary, raisins, and sugar.
