Tips:
- Choose high-quality pork chops. Look for chops that are at least 1 inch thick and have good marbling. This will help ensure that the chops are juicy and flavorful.
- Use a variety of rubs. Experiment with different rubs to find one that you like. Some popular options include garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and chili powder.
- Rub the chops evenly. Make sure to rub the chops all over, including the sides and edges. This will help the rub adhere to the meat and create a flavorful crust.
- Let the chops rest before cooking. This will help the rub to penetrate the meat and create a more flavorful chop.
- Cook the chops over medium heat. This will help prevent the chops from drying out. You can use a grill, a stovetop skillet, or a baking sheet in the oven.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the chops are cooked to your desired doneness. Pork chops are safe to eat when they reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
