Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use fresh parsley and walnuts. If you don't have fresh parsley, you can use dried parsley, but the flavor will be less intense.
  • If you don't have walnuts, you can use another type of nut, such as almonds or pecans. However, walnuts have a slightly bitter flavor that pairs well with the salmon.
  • If you don't have a food processor, you can chop the parsley and walnuts by hand. However, a food processor will make the job much easier.
  • Don't overcook the salmon. Salmon is a delicate fish, so it cooks quickly. Overcooked salmon will be dry and tough.
  • Serve the salmon immediately with the pesto. The pesto will help to keep the salmon moist and flavorful.

This salmon with quick parsley walnut pesto recipe is an easy and delicious way to enjoy salmon. The pesto is made with fresh parsley, walnuts, garlic, olive oil, and Parmesan cheese.
