I clipped this recipe from Taste of Home magazine several years ago and have found it to be the best-tasting easy beef and broccoli stir-fry. It is credited to Ruth Stahl. I often use charcoal chuck steak, which is very tender and lean. I also like that it doesn't call for any unusual ingredients.

Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of beef: Flank steak, skirt steak, or sirloin steak are all good choices for this dish. They are tender and flavorful, and they will cook quickly.
  • Marinate the beef: Marinating the beef in a flavorful mixture of soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and spices will help to tenderize it and add flavor.
  • Cook the beef over high heat: This will help to create a nice sear on the outside of the beef and keep it tender and juicy on the inside.
  • Add the vegetables towards the end of cooking: This will help to prevent them from overcooking and becoming mushy.
  • Serve the dish immediately: This dish is best served hot and fresh from the pan.
