- To make the perfect pork chop, start with a thick-cut bone-in chop. Season it liberally with salt and pepper, then sear it in a hot skillet over medium-high heat. Once the chop is browned on both sides, reduce the heat to low and cook it through, about 10 minutes per side.
- For a flavorful and juicy pork roast, marinate it in a mixture of olive oil, garlic, herbs, and spices for at least 4 hours, or up to overnight. When you're ready to cook it, roast the pork in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 1 hour per pound.
- To make pulled pork, start with a pork shoulder or butt. Season it with your favorite rub, then slow-cook it in a crock pot or smoker until it is fall-off-the-bone tender. Once the pork is cooked, shred it and serve it on buns with your favorite barbecue sauce.
- For a quick and easy weeknight meal, try pork stir-fry. Cut pork into thin strips and stir-fry it with your favorite vegetables and sauce. Serve it over rice or noodles.
- Pork is also a great ingredient for soups and stews. For a hearty and flavorful soup, add pork to a pot of vegetables and broth. Simmer until the pork is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
