These elegant sandwiches would be great for a shower, reception, or luncheon. Serve on mini-croissants or slice a regular croissant in half if using as part of a buffet. You may want to add a leaf of butter or Boston lettuce to these sandwiches and you can substitute 3 to 6-inch pieces of French bread, buttered and lightly toasted, for the croissants. From an August 1988 issue of Bon Appetit in the "Cooking for Friends" section.

THE BEST SEAFOOD SALAD SANDWICHES
I was experimenting in my kitchen, wanting to come up with something light, taste and refreshing to pack as part of our "tailgating fare" for this year's Jimmy Buffett concert. I am quite proud of the end result, VERY tasty with just the right among of *zing*, but not as to overpower the sandwich. And all 24 sandwiches were gone in under an hour. :) ***NOTE, cooking time include chill time in the fridge***

Tips:
- Use fresh ingredients: The quality of your ingredients will make a big difference in the taste of your seafood salad croissant sandwiches. Be sure to use fresh, high-quality seafood, vegetables, and bread.
- Don't overcook the seafood: Seafood should be cooked just until it is opaque and flaky. Overcooked seafood will be tough and rubbery.
- Use a variety of seafood: Don't be afraid to mix and match different types of seafood in your salad. This will add flavor and texture to the sandwich.
- Use a flavorful dressing: The dressing is what will tie all the flavors of the sandwich together. Be sure to use a dressing that is flavorful and complements the seafood.
- Serve the sandwiches immediately: Seafood salad croissant sandwiches are best served immediately after they are made. The bread will become soggy if the sandwiches are allowed to sit for too long.
Conclusion:
Seafood salad croissant sandwiches are a delicious and easy-to-make lunch or dinner option. They are perfect for a picnic, potluck, or party. With a little planning, you can make these sandwiches ahead of time and have them ready to enjoy whenever you want.
