Stir in the rice, then add 1 3/4 cups water; bring to a boil and cook until most of the water evaporates, about 8 minutes. - Broil the pork and asparagus, turning once or twice, until the pork is browned and cooked through and the asparagus is charred in spots, 8 to 10 minutes. Divide among plates and drizzle the pork with the pan juices; serve with the sesame rice and lemon wedges.

Refrigerate for 1 hour, turning occasionally. 2. While the pork is marinating, if using bamboo skewers, pre-soak them in water for about 20 minutes prior to using them. Tips:
- For the best flavor, choose pork shoulder or pork tenderloin for your kabobs.
- Cut the pork into 1-inch cubes for even cooking.
- Make sure to marinate the pork for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight, for maximum flavor.
- Use a variety of vegetables for your kabobs, such as bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, and zucchini.
- To prevent the vegetables from falling off the skewers, pre-soak them in water for 30 minutes before assembling the kabobs.
- Grill the kabobs over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
- Serve the kabobs with your favorite dipping sauce, such as teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, or sweet and sour sauce.
