1 egg
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) reduced-fat reduced-sodium condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted, divided
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
1/2 cup fat-free milk
1/4 teaspoon browning sauce, optional
1/4 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the egg, bread crumbs, 1/4 cup soup and onion. Crumble the beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into six patties. In a large nonstick skillet, brown the patties on both sides; drain., In a small bowl, combine the milk, browning sauce if desired, salt and remaining soup; stir in mushrooms. Pour over patties. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until a thermometer reads 160° and meat is no longer pink.

1 -2 lb round steak, Thin
2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans Campbell's French onion soup
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (15 1/2 ounce) can green beans
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Season thin-cut Round Steaks with salt and pepper.
  • Place meat at bottom of large casserole dish.
  • Cover mean with green beans.
  • Mix soups together in large bowl with wisk; cover meat & green beans with soup mixture.
  • Cover casserole dish with tin foil.
  • Bake, covered, for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

1 lb ground beef (If using round steaks, use 4) or 1 lb round steak (If using round steaks, use 4)
1 (10 ounce) bottle Heinz 57 steak sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • Form Salisbury Steaks into patties if using.
  • Brown Steaks in Skillet.
  • While steaks brown combine remaining indgredients in a bowl.
  • Transfer Steaks to a 13X9 baking dish.
  • Pour Sauce over meat.
  • Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

1 egg white, lightly beaten

1 jar (12 ounces) beef gravy
1-1/4 to 1-1/2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms

  • In a large bowl, combine the onion, saltines, egg white, milk, horseradish, salt if desired, and pepper. Crumble beef over mixture. 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup all-purpose flour, divided
6 (4 ounce) cube steaks (pounded round meat)
1 large onion, sliced into strips
2 cups beef stock
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Heat the oil in a Dutch oven, or deep iron skillet. Dredge steaks in some of the flour, reserving the rest of the flour. Brown steaks in the oil a few at a time, and remove to a plate. When all of the steaks are browned, place a layer of sliced onions into the Dutch oven, and alternate layers of steak and onion. Pour in beef stock and Worcestershire sauce.
