SIMPLE SANGRIA
I had a craving for sangria and I found this on about.com. I just clarified the directions a little bit. It's a very simple recipe. Ideally you want to chill overnight but I tried after seven hours (couldn't wait) and I thought it tasted really good. Time doesn't include chilling.

Steps:
- Bring sugar and 6 tablespoons water to a boil in a small saucepan, stirring to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature before using.
Tips:
- Choose the right wine: A good rule of thumb is to use a wine that you would enjoy drinking on its own. For a sweeter sangria, use a sweeter wine. For a drier sangria, use a drier wine.
- Use fresh fruit: Fresh fruit is essential for a great sangria. Choose fruits that are in season and that have a good flavor. Some popular fruits for sangria include oranges, lemons, limes, strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries.
- Add a little sugar: Sugar helps to balance out the acidity of the wine and fruit. You can use white sugar, brown sugar, or simple syrup.
- Let it sit: Sangria is best when it has had time to sit and meld the flavors. Let it sit for at least an hour before serving, or even overnight.
- Serve it chilled: Sangria is best served chilled. You can chill it in the refrigerator or freezer, or you can serve it over ice.
Conclusion:
Sangria is a delicious and refreshing drink that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be customized to your own taste. With a few simple tips, you can make a sangria that everyone will love.
