Tips:

  • Cook the meatballs thoroughly: Using a meat thermometer to make sure the internal temperature of the meatballs reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Use high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients, the better the casserole will taste. Look for fresh, flavorful meatballs, sauce, and vegetables.
  • Don't overcook the pasta: Cook the pasta according to the package directions, but be careful not to overcook it. Overcooked pasta will become mushy and ruin the texture of the casserole.
  • Use a large casserole dish: This will ensure that the casserole doesn't overflow. A 9x13 inch casserole dish is a good size.
  • Top with cheese: Adding a layer of cheese to the top of the casserole will give it a golden brown crust and extra flavor.
  • Let the casserole rest before serving: This will allow the flavors to meld and the casserole to set.

Conclusion:

Sister Schubert's Meatball Casserole is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a hearty and flavorful casserole that the whole family will love. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy meal, give Sister Schubert's Meatball Casserole a try. You won't be disappointed!
