When it comes to cooking fish, slow baking is an excellent method for achieving tender, flaky results. This is especially true for salmon, a fatty fish that can easily become dry when overcooked. By cooking the salmon slowly in a flavorful marinade, you can ensure that it remains moist and succulent. One particularly delicious recipe for slow-baked salmon involves using a combination of lemon and thyme. The bright citrus notes of the lemon complement the rich flavor of the salmon, while the thyme adds a touch of herbal earthiness. The result is a dish that is both elegant and satisfying, perfect for a special occasion or a simple weeknight meal. To get started, you'll need a few basic ingredients.
