Steps:
- Drain tuna of as much excess liquid as you can.
- You may use the new tuna in a pouch if you desire.
- Once tuna is drained, place in bowl, add liquid smoke and mix well.
- Cover container and let set 30 minutes to overnight.
- The longer it sets the better it will absorb the smoke flavor.
- Remove tuna from fridge and add Mrs.Dash, mix well.
- Next add mayo 1 tablespoon at a time until you achieve the desired consistency.
- Since this is meant to be eaten with crackers you want to keep it thick but creamy. (I usually use about 5 tablespoons).
- You can also add chopped boiled eggs and extra mayo to this recipe to create an interesting tuna salad for sandwiches.

INCREDIBLE SMOKED TUNA DIP
This is the addictive smoked tuna dip you can find at most any seafood market in the Florida panhandle area. As for the other tuna dips, this is definitely a force to be reckoned with. I've tweaked the spices because nothing tastes better than good ol' Tony's.

Steps:
- Stir everything together with a wire whisk until smooth. Dig in or chill.
- Delicious with crackers or tortilla chips.
Tips:
- Before you start, ensure your tuna is of the highest quality. Fresh or frozen tuna can be used, but canned tuna is not ideal for this recipe.
- For an extra smoky flavor, use hickory or mesquite wood chips when smoking the tuna.
- To achieve a smooth dip, use a food processor or blender to puree the tuna and other ingredients.
- Serve the dip with crackers, chips, or vegetables. You can also use it as a spread on sandwiches or wraps.
- If you don't have a smoker, you can bake the tuna in the oven at 225°F for about 30 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
Conclusion:
Smoked tuna dip is a versatile and flavorful dish that can be enjoyed as an appetizer, snack, or even a meal. It's easy to make and can be tailored to your own personal tastes. So next time you're looking for something new to try, give smoked tuna dip a try!
