Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of steak: For this recipe, a flank steak, skirt steak, or hanger steak works best. These cuts are relatively thin and have a good amount of marbling, which will help them absorb the marinade and cook quickly.
  • Use a flavorful marinade: The marinade is what gives the steak its delicious flavor, so be sure to use a recipe that you like. The marinade in this recipe is made with soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, garlic, and herbs.
  • Marinate the steak for at least 30 minutes, but no longer than 24 hours: If you marinate the steak for too long, the acids in the marinade can start to break down the proteins in the steak and make it tough.
  • Cook the steak over high heat: This will help to sear the outside of the steak and keep the inside juicy.
  • Let the steak rest before serving: This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the steak and make it more tender.

Conclusion:

This recipe for smoky steak marinade is a great way to add flavor to your next grilled steak. The marinade is easy to make and can be used on any type of steak. Just be sure to marinate the steak for at least 30 minutes before cooking, and cook it over high heat for a perfectly seared and juicy steak.
