Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of beef. Flank steak, skirt steak, or sirloin steak are all good options for this recipe. Just be sure to slice the meat against the grain to ensure tenderness.
  • Marinate the beef. Marinating the beef in a flavorful mixture of spices and herbs will help to tenderize it and infuse it with flavor. You can use a simple marinade made with olive oil, garlic, and herbs, or you can get more creative with your ingredients.
  • Cook the beef over high heat. This will help to sear the meat and lock in the juices. Be sure to cook the beef for only a few minutes per side, or it will become tough.
  • Serve the beef with your favorite sides. Southwest beef strips can be served with a variety of sides, such as rice, beans, tortillas, or salad. You can also add your favorite toppings, such as guacamole, salsa, or sour cream.

Conclusion:

Southwest beef strips are a quick and easy meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. The beef is marinated in a flavorful mixture of spices and herbs, then cooked over high heat until it is tender and juicy. Serve the beef with your favorite sides and toppings, and enjoy!
