  • Remove from frying pan and drain on two layers of paper towels.
  • To the frying pan, add onion, garlic, peppers and sausage in skillet.

  • Add to casserole dish.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: This will make a big difference in the flavor of your dish. Look for fresh, ripe vegetables, and use a good quality sausage.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: If you add too much sausage or rice to the pan, it will not cook evenly. Cook the sausage in batches if necessary.
  • Cook the rice until it is tender: But not mushy. This will take about 18-20 minutes.
  • Add the vegetables at the right time: Add the vegetables that take longer to cook, such as carrots and celery, first. Add the softer vegetables, such as tomatoes and bell peppers, later.
  • Season the dish to taste: Add salt, pepper, and other spices to taste. You can also add a squeeze of lime juice or a dollop of sour cream.

Conclusion:

Spanish rice with sausage is a delicious and easy-to-make dish. It is perfect for a weeknight meal or a potluck. With a few simple tips, you can make sure that your Spanish rice with sausage turns out perfect every time.
