SAUSAGE STROGANOFF WITHOUT MUSHROOMS
I found this recipe in a TOH "Country Pork" cookbook,it was sent into them by Barbara Berkow from Northbrook, Illinois.Since I don't like mushrooms those were left out.I haven't tried this yet, just wanted to put it here for safe keeping :) Any flavor of sausage should work just fine with this. The amount of sour cream that you use is up to you. Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients: Fresh, flavorful ingredients will make your stroganoff taste its best. Look for good-quality sausage, mushrooms, and pasta.
- Don't overcrowd the pan: When cooking the sausage and mushrooms, make sure to do it in batches if necessary. Overcrowding the pan will cause the food to steam instead of brown.
- Cook the sausage and mushrooms until they are well-browned: This will give them a rich, savory flavor.
- Use a good quality sour cream: Sour cream is an important ingredient in stroganoff, so make sure to use a good quality one. Avoid using sour cream that is too thin or watery.
- Serve the stroganoff over egg noodles or rice: This is a classic way to serve stroganoff, and it's always a hit.
Conclusion:
This speedy sausage stroganoff tagliatelle is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. It's also a great way to use up leftover sausage. The creamy sauce is rich and flavorful, and the sausage and mushrooms add a savory depth of flavor. Serve it over egg noodles or rice, and you'll have a meal that the whole family will love.
