2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, 2 turns of the pan
4 cloves garlic, crushed away from skin
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
24 jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails in tact, ask for easy peels at your fish counter
2 teaspoons grill or steak seasoning blend (recommended: Montreal Seasoning by McCormick) or coarse salt and pepper
1 lemon, zested and juiced
2 tablespoons chopped parsley leaves, a handful

3/4 lb large peeled deveined shrimp, tails intact
1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons chili-garlic sauce
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 cup yellow onion, finely diced
1 tablespoon minced garlic
6 dried red chilies

  • Place shrimp in a medium bowl and sprinkle with cornstarch and salt. Toss the shrimp and let stand for 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile prepare the sauce. Stir the soy sauce, ketchup, honey, and chili garlic sauce together in a small bowl.

I usually cook it in a pan, but you can also put it on skewers and grill it. It's just a really good way to have shrimp!

24 jumbo shrimp, raw, peeled and de-veined
2 teaspoons McCormick's Montreal Brand steak seasoning
3 garlic cloves, chopped
1 teaspoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 lemon, juice of
lemon wedge, for garnish

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat.
  • In a bowl, combine the shrimp with the crushed red pepper, Montreal steak seasoning and salt and pepper.
  • Saute the garlic in the pan until it's a pale golden color, then add the shrimp.
