Time 5m

Yield 3-5 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 5

6 cups ice, divided
1 (750 ml) bottle limoncello, liquer divided (i.e. Lemoncello)
1/2 cup strawberry syrup, divided (the kind you add to milk)
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced divided
2 cups lemonade, divided

Steps:

  • Put 3 cups ice in a blender. Add 1/2 bottle Lemoncello, 1 cup lemonade and 1/4 cup strawberry syrup. Add more lemonade if mixture is too thick for your liking. Put a few sliced strawberries in the bottom of each glass before pouring in spiked lemonade.
  • If the drink is too bitter, you may have to add a squirt more syrup.
  • Feel free to blend the fresh strawberries in as well, instead of using them as a garnish.
  • You can vary this reipe to suit your taste, by adding raspberry syrup and raspberries, or cranberry juice is good too. I also like to use Minute Maid Tropical Punch fruit juice in place of the one cup of lemonade added to the mix.

SPIKED BLENDED LEMONADE

Categories     Marinade     Thanksgiving     Calvados

Number Of Ingredients 4

3 cups vdka
2 cups frozen lemonade concentrate unthawed
8 cups ice cubes
mint

Steps:

  • Combine 1/12 cup vodka 1 cup lemonade concentrate unthawed 4 cups ice cubes. Blend ti just smooth but still slushy consistency. »Pour in large pitcher. Repet with remaining ingrédients. Cover and freeze. Whisk lemonade gently. Pour into 8 tall glasses and garnish with mint

Tips:

  • Use Fresh Ingredients: Fresh lemons are essential for making the best spiked lemonade. They provide a bright and tart flavor that bottled lemon juice just can't match.
  • Choose the Right Vodka: Not all vodkas are created equal. For the best flavor, choose a vodka that is smooth and clean tasting. Avoid vodkas that are too harsh or have a strong alcohol flavor.
  • Sweeten to Taste: The amount of sugar or simple syrup you add to your spiked lemonade is a matter of personal preference. Start with a small amount and add more to taste. If you're using fresh lemons, you may need less sugar than if you're using bottled lemon juice.
  • Garnish with Lemon Slices: A few lemon slices add a festive touch to your spiked lemonade and help to enhance the lemon flavor.
  • Serve Chilled: Spiked lemonade is best served chilled. You can either chill it in the refrigerator for a few hours or serve it over ice.

Conclusion:

Spiked lemonade is a refreshing and delicious cocktail that is perfect for any occasion. With just a few simple ingredients, you can make a pitcher of spiked lemonade that will be enjoyed by everyone. So next time you're looking for a fun and easy cocktail to make, give spiked lemonade a try!
