Tips:

  • Use russet potatoes: Russet potatoes are the best choice for mashed potato pizza because they are starchy and have a fluffy texture when mashed.
  • Cook the potatoes until they are very soft: This will make them easier to mash and will help the pizza crust to be smooth and creamy.
  • Use a potato ricer to mash the potatoes: A potato ricer will give you the smoothest and creamiest mashed potatoes.
  • Season the mashed potatoes well: Be sure to add plenty of salt, pepper, and garlic powder to the mashed potatoes before you spread them on the pizza crust.
  • Use a variety of toppings: Mashed potato pizza is a great way to use up leftover ingredients. You can top it with anything from cheese and bacon to vegetables and meat.
  • Bake the pizza until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly: This will take about 15-20 minutes.

Conclusion:

Mashed potato pizza is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. It is a great way to use up leftover mashed potatoes, and it can be topped with a variety of ingredients to suit your taste. Mashed potato pizza is a fun and creative way to enjoy pizza night.
